The Concrete Pumping Association of Australia inc. (formed in March 1986) is now recognised by, and represented in many areas of industry and Government including WorkCover, Environmental Protection Authority and Standards Australia. Our members are kept well informed of changing regulations and requirements that would effect their operations.

The Association will assist members with Industrial Relations issues, current Government Authority Regulations and with the help of our Manufacturing and Supply members we can keep the contracting members aware of technological changes in equipment and other advances within the industry.

Membership Categories open to the Australian & New Zealand Industries are as follows:-

• Pumping Contractors with Boom Pumps.
• Pumping Contractors with Line Pumps.
• Concrete Pump Manufacturing Companies.
• Suppliers of Services to the Concrete Industry. 

We hold regular meetings and the wealth of knowledge and experience from all the membership categories is shared with the members with the overall objective of improving the safety, professionalism and the quality of the concrete pumping industry. The input from the members to the association is vital to determine what issues are the most beneficial to the industry and for the direction of the association.

We encourage members to attend the association meetings, however we recognise that not all members are in a position to attend, therefore the minutes of all meetings are issued to the members to keep you informed.

An annual family picnic day is held each year on the first Sunday in August at Fairfield Showground that includes free entry for the exhibition of pumping equipment. The association also holds an annual dinner for all members and friends to attend.

A special category for Workers Compensation has been established by the Concrete Pumping Association of Australia that may reduce premiums for members who qualify& reduced prices are available to members for “Logbooks”, “Safety Stickers” and “Safety Manuals” that have been designed by the existing members for the benefit of the industry.

The Concrete Pumping Association of Australia Inc. is a “not for profit” association that relies on the income from subscriptions and the sale of Safety Products to maintain a beneficial service to our valued members.
