Building the Association
The National Management Committee of the Association approved an Industry Strategic Plan, mapping out the next three (3) years (2018 - 2020) and determining actions required to manage membership development, education, information dissemination and engagement with industry stakeholders.
The Strategic Plan identified the following overarching organisational objectives as priorities over the next three (3) years:
Financial and Organisation Sustainability -- To invest in strategic projects that support targeted membership revenue growth whilst building the Associations positioning and profile and providing long term financial and organisational sustainability.
Building our Profile and Positioning -- To undertake activities that enhance the profile and positioning of the Association to signal to wider industry stakeholders that our ‘doors are open for business’.
Membership Growth and Benefits -- To support membership growth and development a well as adopted programs because it is vital for the organisation to develop and enhance relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the membership.
The Strategic Plan for 2018-2020 focuses on creating and implementing initiatives that meet these objectives in a manner that allows the organisational goals to be met. The figure below summarises Association actions to be undertaken over the next 3 years, which deliver on our objectives:
