Beth Langhauser from Midwest Ltd. Concrete Pumping Service, Rock Island, Illinois, has been elected President of the American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA).Beth shared some of her reasons for becoming involved in the Association. Beth said many people think becoming involved is just about the service of giving back to the profession. But for her, involvement with the ACPA has made a positive impact in expanding her knowledge of the business and a wider understanding of what Associations can achieve through ‘Doing together what we could not do alone’.
The APCA is an international benchmark for the CPAA with a well developed program for safety education and training, coupled with an operator certification program for testing concrete pumping practices.
