Member Feedback Requested – Queensland Concrete Pumping Code of Practice

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) has released the updated draft Concrete Pumping Code of Practice for public consultation. This five-yearly review follows the comprehensive 2017–2019 review and focused on:

  • Technical updates – incorporating information from recent WHSQ safety alerts (e.g. hose whip risks).
  • Editorial changes – improving readability, ensuring legislative consistency, and updating outdated references.

The Concrete Pumping Association of Australia (CPAA) is preparing a consolidated industry submission. We are calling on members to review the draft code and share any feedback on areas that need clarification, adjustment, or improvement.

Please send your comments to CPAA at exec@cpassoc.com.au by Friday 3 October 2025. This allows time for CPAA to collate and submit ahead of WHSQ’s formal deadline of Friday 10 October 2025, 11:59 PM AEST.

Together, we can ensure the Code reflects industry best practice and continues to support safe, practical operations across Queensland.
