Special Purpose Vehicles Exceeding 40 Tonnes

The pre-publication draft of National Class 1 Vehicle Standards Exemption for Special Purpose Vehicles Exceeding 40 Tonnes Total Mass Notice 2018 has been completed and ready for a final review. The Concrete Pumping Association of Australia (CPAA) has been inviteed to comment on the draft. It includes all relevant comments provided by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) Vehicle Safety (VS) reference group and peak industry bodies. The Association is seeking feedback and commment from members.
Important Change to NSW SafeWork Licences

The NSW Government implemented a register of high-risk work, asbestos and demolition licence holders, and general construction induction training card holders. As of 1 July 2018, penalty notices issued by SafeWork will be published on this register.
