UK -- The solution to installing a new floor inside Wembley Stadium’s Bobby More Suite was to park a pump truck pitch-side and extend the boom up into the stands.
South Coast Concrete Pumping was contracted by Studwelders Composite Floor Decks to help install a new floor for the Bobby Moore Suite at Wembley Stadium. Following a technical site visit with the main contractor, Buckingham Group, it was decided the best option was to pump from pitch side.
Approximately 50m3 of liquid floor screed was pumped through a 43-metre Schwing pump and 50 linear meters of static line to infill the floor.
This was the first major pour since the stadium opened in 2007.
